Light Emitting Diode (LED) Targets

These are the targets/ markers which a Visualeyez™ tracker captures. Several types of highest quality LEDs are available for different capture applications. They differ in viewing angles, visibility, physical sizes and intensity.

SIMarker - Completely Wireless Markers

This is a completely wireless active marker for the Visualeyez system. It consists of a tiny radio receiver, a microcontroller and a battery to operate one LED. It offers its own built-in marker tracking ID and combines the best features of both passive and active optical motion capture technologies.

VZSuit

This two-piece stretchable Lycra motion capture suit is completely Velcro-compatible (except for the armpit areas). It allows for free unrestricted acting motions. The actor/ performer simply slips into the suit and is ready to begin motion capture. The top piece is zippered on the front for easy wearing. The suit may come complete with TCM(s) and LED markers strategically placed for optimal full-body motion capture if desired. For applications which require unique marker placements, custom-designed suits may be ordered. The VZSuit is designed for quick and easy arrangement of the LED markers for optimal capture performance and easy suit cleaning. Any wiring required can be covered with removable Velcro strips.

SWMarker – Semi-Wireless Marker


This small intelligent LED marker comes with a built-in ID for flawless marker identification. It is powered by a terminated wire-pair. The marker can be re-positioned along the wire-pair to facilitate attachment on a capture subject. One wire-pair can power up to ten SWMarkers, and three wire-pairs can be powered by a single battery pack. This makes the SWMarker system almost wireless yet up to thirty can be powered by a single battery pack.

Finger Motion Capture Gloves


Intricate fingers and hand motions can be captured with this advanced glove pair. Made with stretchable Velcro-compatible fabric on the back side and mesh material on the palm side for sensitive touch, this glove set allows tiny Velcro based markers to be easily attached to nearly anywhere required to minimize occlusion and allow the highly complex finger motions to be captured.

SIM Transmitter

This radio transmitter is for operation with the SIMarkers. It operates just like the regular marker transmitter, except on a different radio frequency.

Regular Marker Transmitter


This is for tetherless-mode operation of a Visualeyez system. It broadcasts the control signals required for controlling the LED markers. A matching receiver is required for receiving the signals. Thus a transmitter-receiver pair serves as a 'virtual wire' which replaces a tether cable.

Target Control Module 32 (TCM32)

This is a 32-channel cousin of the original 64-channel TCM. It can control up to 32 LED markers. The smaller size and lighter weight of this TCM makes it more suitable for applications where size and weight may be of concern, such as capturing a gymnast in action.

Target Control Module 16 (TCM16)

This 16 channel target control module can control up to 16 LED markers, yet it is as small as a TCM8! The 16 channels can be user-assigned to occupy any of the 1-16, 17-32, 33-48 or 49-64 LEDID banks. The high compactness makes it ideal for wearing around a wrist for fingers motion capture or similar applications. It comes in two versions, one for operating with the standard marker system, the other for operating with a SWMarker system.

Mini Target Control Module (TCM8)

This is an 8-channel cousin of the 64-channel TCM, each for controlling up to 8 LED markers. The significantly smaller size and even lighter weights of these TCMs allow for applications in situations where size and weight may be of concern, such as tracking small animals or props, or operating a VZLaser or the calibration wand of a multi-tracker system. These small TCMs also allow for multi-rate sampling.

VZProbe Contact Digitizer

This is a stick-like device for digitizing the 3D position of a point in space or on an object. It can also be used for establishing a coordinate reference frame. By outfitting it with an appropriate tip, it can even be used to digitize surfaces not in the line-of-sight of the tracker[s]. For example, the underside of a car or the inside of a cup.

Tracker Clamp

This heavy-duty (6.35mm thick) two-piece aluminum clamp will hold a Visualeyez tracker sturdily for permanent or semi-permanent mounting on a solid surface or a truss. The rubber pads around the inside corners will prevent damaging the tracker surface coating.

SIM-Battery Charger


A SIM-Battery Charger can charge several SIMarker batteries simultaneously with its multiple charging tabs. There is also a Test button on each charger.

Flat Wall-Mount Set


A Visualeyez tracker can also be mounted on a flat wall using this heavy-duty aluminum assembly. It consists of two flat end-plates, each with a ball joint, interconnected by an extension rod, and completed by a Tracker Clamp. The mounted tracker can be turned and tilted to point in practically any orientation.

Truss Mount Set

This heavy-duty mounting assembly, complete with a Tracker Clamp, will hold a Visualeyez™ tracker sturdily for permanent or semi-permanent mounting on a 42~52mm truss. The ball joint will allow the mounted tracker to be tilted and turned to any orientation.

Tripod-L


Lower cost heavy duty industrial tripod with one extendable leg for tilting, with one adaptor to join with a Tracker Clamp for holding a tracker. This tripod comes with the ‘–SM’ series of the Visualeyez systems.

SI3 Marker

SI3Marker (3 Leds connected to one completely wireless self-identified marker module with one rechargeable battery for VZ4000 & VZ3000 systems).


VZLaser Remote 3D Digitizer

This is an optional, handheld, synchronized, laser-pointer that is used for digitizing the 3D shapes and sizes of objects for modeling, research or reverse engineering applications. It operates just like an LED marker, except it comes with a push-button switch for activating the digitization only when desired. Since no physical contact is required, the VZLaser can digitize even non-rigid objects such as dress or soft tissue.
