PTI Visualeyez™ Motion Capture Systems are based on active optical technology and can track 3D motions with high accuracy and zero marker swapping errors (a common problem with older capture technologies).

Since the first introduction in 2001, PTI Motion Capture trackers offer the highest performance to cost ratio.

Today, many advanced functions such as automatic continuous calibration, large viewing angle and real-time tactile feedback are still exclusive features that cannot be found elsewhere in the world.

A Visualeyez™ system basically repeatedly captures the 3D positions of markers attached on motion capture subjects very quickly. The subjects can be people, animals, objects, machines, or any combination of them.

To operate, simply specify the desired motion capture modes and parameters (e.g. sampling period, frame-rate, coordinate reference frame, etc.), then press the Record button.

The captured motion data can be exported in real-time or in offline mode to scientific software such as Matlab, Labview, Visual3D, Motion Monitor, or animation software such as Maya, Motionbuilder, etc.

Each marker is identified by a unique ID for error-free tracking. The marker ID for each captured data is intrinsically known and labeled automatically by the system.
